How do neurotoxins work?
Neurotoxins are a purified form of botulinum toxin that temporarily relaxes targeted muscles. When injected, it blocks the signals between nerves and muscles, preventing the muscle from contracting. This process smooths out fine lines and wrinkles caused by repeated facial expressions, such as smiling, frowning, or squinting.

Neurotoxins can be used for therapeutic treatments including migraines, TMJ, and anxiety. We have seen significant success treating migraines with many clients!
What to expect with Botox treatment
Before
Your visit begins with a detailed consultation. We’ll discuss your concerns, goals, and medical history to ensure Neurotoxins are the right treatment for you. Together, we’ll determine the areas to be treated and how many units are needed to achieve your desired results.
During
The treatment area will be cleansed thoroughly. We may apply a topical numbing agent to minimize discomfort, though most clients find the procedure relatively painless. Neurotoxins are administered using a very fine needle for precision and comfort. Each injection takes a few seconds, and the entire process usually lasts 10-15 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated.
After
You’ll receive simple aftercare instructions. Including avoid lying down, strenuous exercise, or massaging the treated area for 4-6 hours. Bruising or slight swelling at the injection site is normal and will resolve quickly.
You’ll start to notice smoother skin within 3-7 days, with full results visible after two weeks. Results typically last 3-4 months, after which you can schedule a follow-up treatment to maintain your look.

First, we'll do a consultation to discuss what areas you're targeting and what results you expect. Then we'll do the injections using a tiny needle. Most clients find the treatment painless and quick. That's it! You'll be on your way and begin seeing results in 3-7 days!
Do Botox injections hurt?
Most clients say the treatments are painless or very minimal. Treatments around the lips (for lip flip) can be slightly painful but have no fear- we will apply numbing cream to ensure minimal pain. And if you're scared of needles, you can close your eyes for the full treatment and we'll do our best to keep the needles put away (until treatment) to prevent you from being anxious.
